Outshine Diabetes provides two types of service, which frequently overlap:

Intensive Diabetes Management

For those with Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational diabetes of all ages, Outshine Diabetes provides comprehensive one-on-one education and support to optimize diabetes management in a holistic manner:

  • Coaching - educator herself a long time type 1 diabetic

  • Counseling on disease process

  • Minimizing risks of complications

  • Nutrition support and education

  • Self monitoring of blood glucose and use of data

  • Exercise

  • Pump Management

  • Other technology - CGM, Meters, Software

  • Remote counseling options available

  • Communication with other providers on your health team

Device Training

Outshine Diabetes provides initial and upgrade training on all major brands of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors as a trainer certified by the respective companies.  Often these trainings are paid for by the device manufacturers.

  • Insulin pumps: Medtronic, Omnipod, and Tandem

  • Continuous Glucose Monitors: Dexcom, Medtronic, and Freestyle Libre

  • Software: Dexcom Clarity, Medtronic CareLink Personal, Tandem T:Connect, Glooko, and LibreView
